Keep Going !

Started my race career as F1 inshore powerboat mechanic for Dene Stallard in the mid 1980’s and then with Mark Shepard in South Africa in from 1994.

Been racing jet skis for 7 years. Started in AquaX with first race being at the end of season in Milord Haven and then European AquaX in Barcelona.

Came 3rd overall in European Am300 class and 4th in UK following season.

Since racing with OCRDA in 2021 I’ve finished 3rd in AM300 2021, 2nd in J2 class 2022 and 2nd in J1 2023 seasons.

Consistency is the key to keeping on the podiums. “Keep going” is my moto, even if it all hurts!!!!!

Background

Born in Cape Town I moved to the uk when I was 17. I was in the transport industry for many years but on the side I always had my head in an engine bay modifying cars and going to Silverstone and Santa Pod. After a little over 20 years on cars I got into jetski's when I made the move from Berkshire to Dorset. I started helping and building some of the fastest ski's in the uk at a poole based Seadoo specialist. In January 2023 I decided to start up Sub3Racing. The name refers to 0-60 in under 3 seconds. We are new but with a wealth of knowledge to keep pushing forwards and stay out in front.

And found many physical benefits from the positions im forced to ride in, which has aided in my recovery and undoubtedly helped my at the time decreasing mental state.

Once I'd started to show to my self I had potential I committed to it and had become national champion j3 2021 and j2 2022.

DRIVER : Craig Temple-Murray  *   NAVIGATOR : Mark Hayward

2024 ! Bring it on !

Craig TM, a racing whiz with more experience than a checkered flag factory, has been chasing the OCRDA F1 title like a cheetah after a juicy antelope (except not as graceful, because cars). He and his buddy Scotty snagged the championship in 2022, and 2024 is shaping up to be another victory waltz (minus the fancy footwork, unless he celebrates with a moonwalk on the podium). Back in the day, Craig was a dancing king, winning the World Champion Latin Ballroom title three times (except for that one year when his one legged nymphomaniac Transylvanian dance partner, bless her one leg and missing eye, caused a mid-routine wardrobe malfunction – talk about a party foul!). But now, he's traded in the sequins for a racing suit, and he's gunning for that F1 championship like nobody's business.

Mark "H": has 20 years’ experience on the water, still searching for land. He's been racing boats in more circuits than a light switch factory, from EPBSC to UKOPRA, even APA in Singapore (probably just went for the spicy noodles). This dude isn't just a driver, he's a man-made GPS with a lead foot – navigating for teams like Team FatBoy in OCRDA's Cougar 27 and Phantom 18 like a boss. At home, he's got two single-seater boats he rallies in his local club, proving he likes things fast, even when stuck with the traffic of buoys. Now, when he's not dodging rogue waves, Mark's busy conquering mountains too – like K2, no less, and without fancy oxygen tanks! Just him, his lungs, and probably a questionable sense of direction. This guy's a legend, alright, just with slightly less damp hair and a perpetual tan and always a bottle of Gin by his side. So watch out on the water, because Mark "H" is coming, and he's got the tonic, the puns and the speed to leave you in his wake (unless you're Sherpa Tensing, apparently).

Ahoy there, landlubbers!

Buckle up for a wave of pure humor-fueled adrenaline, because WTA Western Towing Attachments Boat 55 is about to make the OCRDA F1 Championship as wild as a seagull convention on a chip day.

Imagine this: a driver whose smooth moves put Michael Jackson's moonwalk to shame, and a navigator who's scaled K2 blindfolded while juggling flaming chainsaws (okay, maybe not the chainsaws, but you get the picture!). These nautical legends are bringing their combined awesomeness to the 6 UK events this year, leaving other teams in their wake faster than a dolphin with a rocket strapped to its fin.

Picture the scene:

• Their boat, a sleek beast of the sea, slices through the waves like a hot knife through butter.

• The driver, hair flowing in the wind like a shampoo commercial gone rogue, executes maneuvers so sharp they'd make a brain surgeon jealous.

• The navigator, perched high above like a pirate king surveying his domain, barks orders with the precision of a drill sergeant on a sugar rush. ️

• A motley bunch of Gin-fueled daredevils, work the boat like a well-oiled accordion, playing a symphony of speed and skill.

And the competition? Well, let's just say they're about as useful as a chocolate teapot in a rainstorm. They'll be left sputtering in the dust (or should I say, sea spray) as WTA Western Towing Attachments Boat 55 sails off into the sunset with not one, but TWO shiny championship trophies.

So there you have it, folks! This isn't just a boat race, it's a comedy show on water. Don't miss out on the hilarity (and the inevitable victory) – come cheer on WTA Western Towing Attachments Boat 55 as they make the OCRDA F1 Championship the most entertaining spectacle on the high seas!

P.S. If you see a flying penguin juggling flaming chainsaws, that's probably just the navigator warming up. Don't worry, it's normal.
